On Friday, April 21, the HVFCo along with EMS 17 were dispatched for a multi-vehicle MVA with injuries in the 200 block of Nazareth Pike at 1708 hours. 5351 (Chief Seip) responded to the scene and found 2 vehicles blocking the northbound lane of Nazareth Pike and 1 vehicle on the lawn in front of fire station 53. 5341 (Capt. Suhr) responded with a crew of 5 and performed hazard and traffic control duties while EMS 17 assessed the occupants of the vehicles. 5349 responded and took over traffic duties from 5341's crew. Two people were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.
