Hanoverville Road Structure Fire

Fire Stations 53 and 14 along with EMS 17 were dispatched for a structure fire at 4656 Hanoverville Road at 1714 hours. 5354 (Captain Suhr) responded to the scene and confirmed the dispatch of a working fire in a detached 2 two-story building and established the 53 Command. 5311 (Lt Cortright) responded with a crew of 5 and stretched a line to the second floor and began fire attack. 5312 (AC Boucher) arrived on scene and handled water supply from a hydrant on the property. 1421 (Nancy Run of Bethlehem Twp.) was directed to the roof for vertical ventilation. The crew from 5311 knocked the fire down quickly and was able to contain it to the area of origin with minimal damage to the structure and contents. Engine 1512 (Hanover Twp. Northampton County) was called to the scene to supplement the manpower pool and an engine from Fire 50 (Vigilance Hose of Nazareth) handled the cover assignment at Station 53. EMS 17 stood by to monitor the crews and provide rehab. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters related to the incident.
