Hollo Road Dwelling Fire

At 13:58 hours, the Hecktown Vol. Fire Company (F53), along with the Palmer Municipal Fire Department (F27) were alerted for a reported Dwelling Fire in the 3900 block of Hollo Road in Lower Nazareth Township. A Colonial Regional Police Officer arrived, reporting smoke and fire showing. 5357 (Gable) arrived confirming a working fire in a 2 story farmhouse, established the 53 Command, requested the 1st Alarm and 5 Tankers. Engine 2712 arrived and crews stretched 1.75" handline and knocked down the bulk of the fire. Crews from F53 and F27 performed a primary search finding and removing 3 dogs. Additional crews from the 1st Alarm arrived and assisted with fire attack, ventilation, mop up and overhaul. Two additional dogs were found safe during final overhaul of the fire. Northampton County Station 40 (Bath) provided coverage for Lower Nazareth Township.
