On Monday evening at 18:32 hours, the Hecktown Fire Company No. 1 was alerted for a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Newburg Road and Northwood Avenue in Lower Nazareth Township. 5352 (AC Hinkel) arrived on scene confirming a two vehicle accident, and established 53 Command. Rescue 5341 (LT. Brooks) arrived on scene moments later, controlled hazards and assisted with traffic control. Traffic Unit 5349 assisted with traffic on the east side of the scene. 2 occupants in the vehicle were transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
