At 14:49 hrs, the Hecktown Vol Fire Company (F53), Nazareth Fire Department (F50) and Bethlehem Township EMS (EMS 17) were alerted for a reported Motor Vehicle Accident with Rescue in front of 695 Nazareth Pike in Lower Nazareth Township. 5358 (Foreman Cortright) arrived to find a single vehicle accident (car vs. pole) with one subject still in the vehicle and established 53 command. Rescue 5041 and 5341 arrived and crews utilized the Hurst Rescue Tools to open the driver's side door to free the driver. EMS 17 transported 1 to a local hospital for evaluation.
