Truck Fire On Route 33

Fire 53 was alerted for Tanker 5331 to assist Bethlehem Township Stations 14 and 17 with a working tractor trailer fire on Route 33 South at mile 4.2. 5351 (Chief Seip) responded to the scene and was directed by 1753 (AC Clerico) to establish water supply for Engine 1411 and request Engine 5311 to the scene for the elevated master stream. 5331 (AC Cortright) arrived and supplied 1411. 14 and 17 crews knocked the fire down using handlines from 1411. 5311 (Capt Suhr) arrived on scene and put the elevated master stream in service to assist with overhaul. Tankers from 54 (Upper Nazareth) and 36 (Plainfield Twp) were also called to provide additional water supply for the operation.
