| The HFCo. was alerted with the Palmer Municipal Fire Department (FIRE 27) for a Dwelling Fire on Blenheim Drive in Old Orchard. Rescue 5341 responded with staffing of 5. 2751 (Fire Commissioner Grube) arrived on scene, established 27 Command, reported a working basement fire, and added the 1st Alarm to the fire assignment. Engine 2711 arrived on scene and crew stretched a 1.75" handline to the front door and advanced to the sub-division. Ladder 2721 arrived on scene and crew assisted with fire attack, search, and ventilation. 2752 (AC Carr) was assigned the Operations role and 1451 (Chief Hauze) was assigned the Accountability Officer. 5341 arrived on scene and crew was assigned to RIT (Rapid Intervention Team). 2311 arrived on scene and the crew reported to manpower staging area. Engine 1412 was staged at the hydrant. Crews from 2711 and 2721 made an aggressive interior attack and held the fire to the basement. Engine 5011 (Vigilance Hose Co. of Nazareth) was alerted to relocate to Fire 53 to cover calls in Lower Nazareth Township. |
