| The HFCo. was alerted at 03:35 hrs. as part of the 1st Alarm assignment for a Dwelling Fire on Willow Drive in Palmer Township. First arriving 27 units established water supply and placed 2721's ladder pipe along with multiple hand-lines in service to darken down the fire and protect exposures. The fire was held to the building of origin with heat and smoke damage to the B and D side exposures. As the incident progressed, 27 Command (A/C Carr) requested a second alarm to provide additional man-power and units for cover assignments for the stations that were committed on the scene. Engine 5311 and Command 5344 responded from Station 53. 5351 (Chief Seip) arrived on scene and assisted command with various tasks early on in the fire. 5351 was then assigned to Side C Operations. 5311's crew arrived on scene and reported to the man-power pool where they were assigned to salvage and overhaul in both the fire building and the side B exposure. |
