| On Saturday December 13th the members of the Hecktown Vol. Fire Co. conducted their annual Santa Toy Run delivering over 150 gifts to 65 houses in the township. Parents delivered the presents to the station during the month of December, which included a $10 donation to the fire company. The fire company then proceeded for 3 hours throughout the township delivering the presents to the eagerly awaiting kids.
With lights flashing and sirens blaring, the trucks and Santa were greeted with open arms from the kids as they received their presents. Santa kneeled with the kids for picture opportunities and received a lot of hugs from the kids. All of the kids had great big smiles on their faces as the trucks approached with Santa waving from the front seat.
A special thank you to all of the families of Lower Nazareth who supported the all-volunteer fire company as they raised money to help support their daily operations and equipment needs. |
