Stations 53, 14, and EMS 17 were dispatched at 06:06 for a working dwelling fire at 329 Hillcrest Ave. in Lower Nazareth Township. NC911 advised that they were receiving multiple reports of a working fire. 5352 (AC Boucher) responded to the scene and confirmed a single family dwelling with heavy fire venting from the attached garage and vehicles burning in the driveway. 5352 established the 53 Command and confirmed all occupants had safely evacuated the structure. 5352 requested additional apparatus from Station 14(Nancy Run), and Station 23 (West Easton) was added for RIT. 5311 (AC Hinkel) responded with staffing of 5. Upon arrival water supply was established from a hydrant across the street from the fire building and 1- 1 3/4" and 1- 2 1/2" line were stretched by 5311's crew. A transitional attack was initiated with 5311's elevated master stream knocking down the bulk of the visible fire prior to crews entering the structure. Command upgraded the assignment to a first alarm in order to provide additional man-power at the scene. Crews from station 27 (Palmer Municipal), 50 (Nazareth Borough), and 54 (Upper Nazareth) filled out the first alarm assignment and assisted with suppression and overhaul. EMS 17 provided stand-by coverage and rehab during the incident. No injuries were sustained by residents or firefighters.
