On Monday, June 29, the HVFCo hosted several surrounding departments for a tanker drill at the Dutch Springs diving facility. The focus for the evening was on nurse tanker operations and maintaining a specific flow for a period of time. E5311 was set up at the attack engine with T5331 operating as the nurse tanker. E5312 set up the fill site at the dry hydrant located on the property. Tankers from stations 54, 52, 46, 36, and 18 moved the water between the two locations at Dutch Springs. Fire 53 would like to thank all of the mutual aid companies that attended and assisted with the training. We would like to also thank everyone at Dutch Springs for accomodating us for this training.
