At 1600 hours, the Hecktown Vol. Fire Company No. 1 and Bethlehem Township EMS (EMS 17) were alerted for a motor vehicle accident with a pole and wires on the roadway at 536 Georgetown Road in Lower Nazareth Township. EMS 17 arrived, confirmed the dispatch and reported negative entrapment. 5352 (AC Hinkel) arrived on scene, requested Georgetown Road be shut down between Ash Drive and Newburg Road and established command. 5341 (AC Cortright) responded and staged on the southside of the scene. EMS transported the operator of the vehicle to a local hospital for evaluation.
