At 8:02 hours, the Hecktown Vol Fire Company, the Vigilance Hose Company of Nazareth (Fire 50) and Bethlehem Township (EMS17) were alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the 500 block of Nazareth Pike in Lower Nazareth Township. Reports stated a car into a pole with wires and pole on the ground. EMS 17 arrived on scene confirming the dispatch and requested Nazareth Pike to be shut down at Daniels Road. Rescue 5341 (Capt. Suhr) arrived and crew secured the area on the south end of the incident. Rescue 5041 arrived and secured the north end of the scene. Penn Dot and Pa. Power and Light were requested to respond. EMS transported to a local hospital.
