Fire 53 and EMS 17 were dispatched to a reported vehicle fire on Route 33 North at Mile Marker 4.8. 5351 (Chief Seip) responded to the scene and confirmed the dispatch of a working engine compartment fire extending to the passenger compartment. Rescue/Engine 5312 (AC Brooks) and Tanker 5331 (AC Hinkel) arrived on scene and set up operations on the northbound shoulder. 5312's crew stretched the 1 3/4" bumper line to control the vehicle fire and the brush fire on the shoulder of the road. 5331 provided water supply for 5312.
