The firefighters of HVFCo. #1 and police officers from Colonial Regional PD participated in the Hoagies for Heroes hoagie building contest to kick off the grand opening at the Wawa on Jandy Blvd. in Lower Nazareth Township. Wawa donated $1,000.00 to charities chosen by the Police Department and Fire Company. The fire company chose the First Responders Chaplain Corps as our charity. The organization supports first responders during times of crisis as well as individuals experiencing tragedies such as fires and other emergency situations. The fire company is proud to bring home the trophy for winning the competition and is happy to welcome another WaWa to our community.
