Pump Ops. 2 @ Dutch Springs

The HVFCo. #1 along with Palmer Municipal Fire Department participated in a 16 hour Pump Operations 2 course, taught by Tony Riccardi. Station 53 hosted the course. The classroom portion held at the station and the practical evolution took place at Dutch Springs, a local diving facility. Participants learned about various pumping techniques as well as flow calculations for all types of hose and nozzles. The officers and members of the HVFCo.#1 would like to extend our thanks to the PMFD for participating in the class with us and especially to Mr. Riccardi for a well presented and practical approach to pump operations.
