The HVFCo.#1 was dispatched at 958 hrs. to provide a RIT response at a working dwelling fire in Bath Borough (Station 40). Stations 40 and 46 (East Allen) were on scene with a working fire in a dwelling that had been converted into two apartments. 5341 responded with staffing of 5 with 5351 (Chief Seip) and 5353 (AC Hinkel) responding directly to the scene. Upon arrival 5354 (Captain Lambert) took the RIT operations sector and staged the RIT on the A side of the dwelling. Members not committed to the RIT were assigned to assist with ventilation and other tasks on the fire ground. Station 14 (Nancy Run) handled the move-up assignment to cover Fire 53's first due.
