On Monday, August 17, 2009 four members of the apparatus committee traveled to Meyersdale, PA to finalize plans for the new engine 5311. Members were able to inspect the chassis and inspect and operated the Snozzle. The members were pleased to find everything in order. Drawings and specifications were reviewed and updated. Members also discussed details regarding equipment location and operation. The next trip to Meyersdale will be for the pre-paint inspection in early winter.
