On Saturday, August 15, Fire 53 was on hand to welcome another new business to Lower Nazareth Township. Sports Authority opened a new store on Dryland Way in the township to an enthusiastic crowd. Fire 53 along with CRPD represented local emergency services. The Nazareth Blue Eagle Marching Band and Ferrous, the mascot for the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs baseball team, also welcomed customers to the new store. Ferrous and the band also took some time to pose for pictures with the firefighters and apparatus. The officers and members of the HVFCo.#1 would like to thank Sports Authority for the opportunity to participate, as well as Ferrous, and The Blue Eagle Band for being great sports for the photos.
