Bushkill Township Fire Company 50th Anniversary Parade

On September 26th, the Hecktown Vol. Fire Co. #1 participated in the 50th Anniversary Parade of the Bushkill Township Fire Company. After final prep work, Engine/Rescue 5312, Tanker 5331, Rescue 5341, and Traffic Unit 5349 headed to Nazareth Borough. After the parade concluded, members got to enjoy the sights, sounds, and food at the Bushkill Township Fire Company carnival grounds. At 1700hrs. the trophies were awarded. The HVFCo.#1 was awarded 1st Place in the following categories: Best Appearing Engine (1980-1999), Rescue, Tanker, and Special Services. HVFCo.#1 was awarded 2nd Place for Best Appearing Department.
The officers and members would like to congratulate the BTFCo. for their 50 years of dedicated service to the community.
