The HVFCo. was alerted at 11:27 hrs. to assist The Vigilance Hose Company (Nazareth Station 50) at a working dwelling fire at 421 E. Bank Street in the borough. Initial reports from the scene indicated a 3 story double home with smoke and flames showing. 5312 responded with a crew of 4 from the Northampton Crossings Mall where they were on a special assignment. 5341 responded with a staffing of 6. Upon arrival crews were sent to assist with search, fire suppression, ventilation, and overhaul. Units remained on scene for approximately one hour with 5312 then relocating to Station 50 to provide coverage while Station 50 units were committed on scene. Nancy Run Station 14 handled the move-up assignment for Station 53.
