On December 18, 2010 members of the HVFC#1 distributed gifts to children of the township as part of our annual Santa's Toy Run. E5312 departed with Santa on board with E5311, R5341, and TC5349 in tow. Residents welcomed Santa into their homes as the most anticipated visitor of the year. Santa was greeted by many children who were very surprised! There were beaming smiles, big hugs, and thank you's as Santa handed them their gifts. Santa visited 40 residences within the township, including two stops at houses celebrating birthdays.
The toy run took approximately 4 hours and was handled by 11 fire personnel. The officers and firefighters of HVFC#1 would like to thank the residents for allowing us to be a part of their holiday season and for their generous donations.
