Firefighters from the HVFCo. along with Stations 14 (Nancy Run of Bethlehem Twp.) and 27 (Palmer Municipal FD) recently completed the Hazardous Materials Operations Refresher Course. Personnel participated in a classroom session that reviewed various resources available for on scene operations and then utilized these resources to conduct research on specific chemicals. The second class session was devoted to a variety of decontamination methods and the equipment used for the decon process.
