December 26 - The Hecktown Vol. Fire Co. responded to multiple calls today. Calls included an automatic fire alarm which turned out to be construction work on the alarm system. As the crew was returning to quarters, they were dispatched for an MVA with injuries on Route 33 southbound with a vehicle into a light pole. Later that evening, the company was dispatched for a two vehicle MVA with injuries at the intersection of Route 248 and the Route 33 northbound off-ramp. The fire company would like to remind everyone to use caution when driving this winter, especially during inclement weather, and reduce your speed.
