The HFCo.#1 was alerted at 14:24 to the Brown-Daub Chevy dealer on Nazareth Pike for a smoke and odor problem outside the building. Rescue 5341 responded with staffing of 6. The rescue arrived on side A confirmed the dispatch, and 5353 (Asst. Chief Hinkel) established 53 Command. Tanker 5331 arrived and staged in the Carquest parking lot. Engine 5311 backed into the dealership lot and staged. 5341 crew investigated the interior, found the problem to be with oil burner, cut power and opened the garage bay doors to ventilate the shop area.
