Fire 53 along with Fire 50 (Vigilance Hose of Nazareth), and EMS 17 were dispatched to a reported barn fire at the Blue Barn Nursery at the intersection of Easton Nazareth Highway and Hollo Road. 5351 (Chief Seip) arrived on scene shortly after dispatch and updated the call to a greenhouse fire with exposure to the barn. Tanker 5431 (Upper Nazareth) was added to the call and Fire 50 was requested to respond an engine in addition to the tower ladder. Engine 5012 arrived on scene and stretched 2 - 1 3/4" lines and began knocking down the fire. 5331 provided the water supply. Crews from 5311, 5021 and the other responding units assisted with overhaul. The fire was contained to the building of origin with no extension to the main structure.
