Fire 53 and EMS 17 (Bethlehem Township) were dispatched at 2300 hrs. to Route 33 North at mile marker 5.2 for a reported vehicle fire. 5351 (Chief Seip) responded to the scene and confirmed the dispatch. 5312 (Capt. D. Cortright) arrived on scene and extinguished the fire with one 1 3/4" handline. Tanker 5331 (AC Hinkel) staged on Hecktown Road at the interchange. Traffic was reduced to a single lane during the incident.
