The HVFCo. #1 was dispatched at 03:54 for a reported dwelling fire at 4640 Stafford Avenue in Lower Nazareth Township. With initial reports of a working fire with flames showing and multiple calls being received by NC911, 5351 (Chief Seip) requested station 14 (Nancy Run of Bethlehem Township) for one engine and a tower and Station 27 (Palmer Municipal) for RIT. 5352 (AC Boucher) arrived on scene, confirmed the dispatch, and established 53 Command. Rescue/Engine 5312 responded with staffing of 5 and was followed by Tanker 5331 and Rescue 5341. Upon arrival 5312's crew stretched one 1 3/4" and one 2 1/2" hand-line and began attacking the main body of fire which had self vented the attached garage roof on the A/B corner. Engine 1411 and Tower 1421 arrived and were directed by command to access the garage roof and check for extension to the living area of the dwelling. Station 15 (Hanover Twp. Northampton County) was requested by command to provide additional man-power to assist with salvage and overhaul.
