Personnel from HVFCo.#1 along with Bushkill, Tatamy, and Pen Argyl fire companies completed 16 hours of Pump Operations 1. The course was taught by Tony Riccardi. In this course personnel were introduced to basic pump construction, theory, and pump operating techiniques. Instructor Riccardi talked about getting water to the pump, getting water from the pump to the hoselines, and prevention of common mistakes associated in pump operations.
