The members of the HVFCo.#1 toured Essroc Cement Plant #1 on Monday evening. Station 53 members along with representatives from neighboring departments were given a tour of the facility by Essroc representatives Rob Romig and Richard Huth. Members were able to get an up close look at the entire manufacturing process because the plant is currently shut down for routine maintenance. All of those in attendance found the evening to be very interesting and informative. The officers of Station 53 would like to thank Essroc Cement and their employees for allowing us to tour their plant. We look forward to training with them in the future.
