On Saturday, February 20, 2016, Junior Firefighter Tyler Youngkin participated in the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. The event was held in Easton with participants taking the plunge in the Delaware River. Even though the temperatures were unseasonably warm for late February, we were assured that the water was plenty cold. The HVFCo is proud to support Tyler and the Special Olympics. We would also like to congratulate Tyler on his medal winning skiing performance at the Winter Special Olympic Games.
