At 17:24 hours, the Hecktown Vol. Fire Co. was alerted along with the Nancy Run Fire Co. for a vehicle fire on Newburg Road west of Gradwohl Switch Road. ALS 1781 arrived shortly after dispatch with a pickup and trailer loaded with lumber and confirmed a working fire. Engine 5011 and Tender 5431 was added to the assignment.
Lieutenant 5356 (D. Cortright) arrived and confirmed the update from 1781 and established the 53 command.
Engine/Rescue 5312 responded with staffing of 5. 5312 arrived and crew stretched a 1.75 handline from the front bumper and quickly extinguished the fire. Traffic 5349 assisted with traffic control in the area.
