FF's complete Basic Vehicle Rescue Technician

On Saturday June 18th firefighters from Hecktown Fire Company (F53), Palmer Municipal Fire Department (F27), Bath Fire Department (F40), Vigilance Hose Company (F50), Upper Nazareth Fire Department (F54), and Upper Saucon Volunteer Fire Department (LC27) completed the final section of the PA Dept. of Health Basic Vehicle Rescue. FF"s learned the hazards of vehicle rescue operations, Incident Command, Access, Disentanglement, Extrication, Tools, Vehicle Anatomy, and the Post Rescue phases of vehicle rescue. The FF's had the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks with the use of power tools and disentanglement techniques.
