The chassis for the new 5331 has arrived in Myersdale, PA at 4-Guys Fire Apparatus. The Peterbilt 389 chassis will serve as the foundation for the 1750p / 4000w tanker to be constructed in 2017. The truck committee worked with Bob Pursel of Commonwealth Fire Apparatus to create the custom specs for the new unit. The new tanker will replace the current 5331 which was placed in service in 1997.
